Players of the Week for Dec 12

Here are my picks for the POW for games played last weekend:

Mike Gudmandson (DB) - Mike turned away 51 of 53 shots the Rustlers sent his way to lead the Barons to their win in Red Deer.

Bryce Wilson (LG) - Bryce put up 2-1-3 in regulation and then added 1 in the shootout to help help the Generals to their league leading 9th win of the season and increase their lead over Camrose.

Thomas Carr (MK) - Thomas scored 2-2-4 to lead the Kings to their home ice win over Westlock to climb within 1 point of the 3rd place Warriors.

The NCHL wraps up the 2022 portion of the regular season this weekend with 3 games.

On Friday, Bonnyville celebrates their 70th anniversary of senior hockey when they host Devon in a battle for the 6th and final playoff position.

On Saturday, Lacombe hosts Red Deer and Camrose travels up to Westlock.

The league will then take 3 weeks off through Christmas and New Years with action resuming on January 7th.
