| NCHL Expands to 10 Teams |

 The NCHL is happy to announce that their membership has risen to 10 teams with the addition of the Stony Plain Eagles and the Innisfail Eagles effective for the upcoming season. This marks the first time since the 2016-2017 season that the league has had 10 teams. The league also announced that they were doing away with the divisional split that they used last season and that teams would each play a home and home versus every team making for a balanced schedule, total of 18 games. The regular season is scheduled to commence September 28th and the playoffs will commence on February 7th. The playoff format will be a discussion at the fall meeting. In other news, Jerry Muise has been acclaimed as league President after current President Sam Maupin stepped down, citing load management as the determining factor in her decision. Trish Rizko was acclaimed Vice President and Darcie Brady was appointed as Treasurer. The secretary position is currently vacant.
