Another week of NCHL hockey with 3 games in the books. Devon picked up their first win of the season with a 13-0 home ice win over Bonnyville, with rookie goaltender Jordan Cooke picking up the shutout. Morinville won their second straight game with a 5-3 road win in Westlock while Lacombe remained unbeaten with a 9-5 road win over Red Deer. Camrose handily won an exhibition game against the Coyotes HC out of the Chinook League.

Jamie Driedger (DB) - paced the Baron's win with 3-1-4.
Bryce Wilson (LG) - lead the way offensively (1-3-4) in the Generals win over Red Deer.
Jordan. Cooke (DB) - stopped 23/23 to pick up the shut out over the Pontiacs.

Play continues this weekend with 3 games scheduled. Bonnyville hits the road with games in Lacombe on Friday and Red Deer on Saturday. The other game sees Devon travelling to Morinville. The Fort Saskatchewan at Westlock game has been declared a forfeit to Westlock as the Chiefs have folded for this season.
